I work with people who are in transition and need some guidance to help sort through the muck of change that is so challenging for all of us. Work in my practice provides a roadmap of where you are and a goal of where you would like to be in life, with guidance of how to get there along the way. This map looks different for everyone I work with because your experience is your own – no one else brings the same things to the table that you do. No one else is going through the same changes you are going through. I like to work collaboratively so we set goals for therapy together and I tailor therapeutic techniques that are uniquely suited to your needs.
I have a strong passion for working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression throughout their life transitions. These are two areas of struggle I have seen in abundance throughout my life and I have made them the focus of my education and training thus far. I have helped clients who are in difficult relationships, shifting job opportunities, or changing family circumstances all work to reduce their level of worry and sadness by regaining control of their daily experience. I have experience working with couples, parents of young children, adults experiencing major life transitions, and teens involved in the legal system.
I have a masters degree in social work with specialized training in marriage and family therapy. I am currently a Masters level Social Worker, a Certified Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
